Butterworth Cottage, one of the original 19th-century structures on the Government House property that make up the Cary Castle Mews, is home to Rudi's Tea Room. It bears the name Rudolph (Rudi) Hoenson in honour of the benefactor and steadfast ally of Government House. The Tea Room offers both dine-in and take-out options. Dine-in seating is first come, first served, and reservations are not accepted.
